Happy (almost) Valentine’s Day! This is such a fun time of year with all the adorable decorations, yummy desserts, and fabulous Valentine’s parties.
Valentine’s also gives me a good excuse to go crazy with pink. It’s my favorite color, so I jump at every chance to wear it! I like to go the classy route for Valentine’s. This outfit is so simple and modest, but also, super cute. Plain white with a pop of pink is the way to go.
These adorable Hunter boots go with so much! They can be worn all year long in any season. They’re like the perfect shoes. Haha. These boots go especially well with jeans and a simple shirt. So cute.
Okay y’all, this necklace is one of my faves of all times. It’s a J.Crew replica, but, we got it off of Amazon for only $20. What a great deal…and it looks just like the real version from J.Crew. Love it!
Thanks to my super awesome sister for doing this cute knotted hairstyle. She’s amazing!
Comment below and let me know what you’re up to this weekend for Valentine’s Day. Have an awesome weekend celebrating with loved ones.
Who’s enjoying their amazing week off? Spring break is so relaxing and refreshing. We’ve been hanging out with great friends, reading good books and catching up on some needed cleaning. You’ve got to have these weeks off every now and then!
Okay… now that summer is quickly approaching, all the winter clothes are getting put away and the summer clothes are coming out. One of the biggest struggles with this time of the year has to do with dressing modestly. Most people just throw modesty out the door when summer hits. As Christians, we want to honor Christ in all seasons, no matter what other people are or aren’t doing. As much as I love the warm weather, iced lemonades and floppy hats, it can be hard to dress modestly through it all. So, today, I want to show you one way I choose to dress modestly in the beautiful Texas summer heat.
Dresses are one of my favorite outfits to wear to stay cool in the summer. They’re breezy, feminine, and absolutely adorable! One of the ways I make a dress more modest is by adding a denim shirt over it. If you have a string-strap dress, instead of chucking the dress, add a denim shirt over it. So fun, modest and cute! It totally spices up a dress while adding a touch of modesty at the same time.
I actually sewed this dress last summer. Old Navy is having some really good sales right now on all they’re dresses, so totally check them out!
This amazing denim shirt is perfect for throwing over dresses. I love it so much. It came from H&M. Such an essential piece in any girl’s wardrobe.
And lastly, this outfit would not be complete without this fantastic necklace from Amazon. Gotta love Amazon! Haha.
What were YOU up to this Spring Break? Any fun adventures?
