I’m super excited to share with you my FIRST YouTube video! Woohoo. *cue the celebration music*. Today I’m doing a gorgeous dutch crown braid that I talked about in last week’s blog!! I absolutely love this hairstyle for the spring weather. I find it very easy, totally adorable and great for almost any occasion.
Before I started, I used a NuMe wand (find on Amazon for half the price here) to curl my hair. Hairstyles look so much better on me when I curl my hair before I style it! So, sit back, grab a glass of lemonade and watch how I do this fabulous dutch crown braid.
I hope you enjoyed watching this fun video! Comment below if you found this tutorial helpful. Stay tuned to my page for more gorgeous hairstyles!
So, this past week, most of the fam was in Colorado on an epic vacation, while us youngsters were holding down the fort with Mom and Dad. We had some great bonding time while eating out a lot and drinking waaaay too much coffee.
Since Ellissa, my incredible photographer, was skiing the slopes, she wasn’t able to take my “Fashion Friday” pics this week. Since she was gone, I asked my super, awesome brother (Tim) to take them for me. He’s fabulously creative and has such an eye for capturing just the right shot. It was a blast getting to take pics with him.
I’ve been venturing out the past few weeks with different jean colors. A few weeks ago, I ordered some really cute white jeans from Old Navy. I bought the “Curvy” style. They were a super great fit at the top, but not at the ankle. They weren’t exactly skinny jeans, so, instead of ditching them, I just sewed them in from the knee to the ankle to make them “skinny” jeans. I do that with a lot of my jeans if I don’t like exactly how they fit. Its works great!
Browns and blues are so fabulous together. This brown jacket is the perfect length when wearing dresses, skirts or pants. Super versatile. This specific jacket came from Clothes Mentor, which is a high-end resale shop. They sell really nice brands much cheaper than you would buy them off the rack in-store. I love that place!
Lastly, this gorgeous crown braid…Okay, when I first tried this, it was pretty hard. But, I watched some tutorials and practiced it a lot. ! It’s very elegant and beautiful! Check back next week and I’ll personally show you how to do this beautiful crown braid! Woohoo!
